The short version.
Care Command HQ includes a downloadable printable binder and a live web app. When you use the app, you may enter sensitive details about the person you care for. That information is different from a paper binder you fill out at home, and this policy covers both.
Information you share
On the website, we may receive your name, email, survey choices, order information and messages you send to support. The app may contain information you choose to enter, such as names, medication schedules, doses and refusals, appointments, incidents, task assignments, updates and private journal entries. Avoid storing information you do not have permission to share.
How the services work
Our website uses Netlify; Stripe handles payment collection and recurring billing; MailerLite processes email opt-ins and email communications; and the Command Center app uses Base44 infrastructure for app accounts and information you enter. Those providers handle information as needed to operate the services. Payment card details are entered with Stripe, not into our site forms.
Care-team access
Information within your care profile is intended to be accessible to authorized care-team users you invite, according to the permissions available in the app. The private Sanity Log is intended to remain visible only to its author. Before relying on sharing a record, check who you have invited and what access they have.
Marketing and analytics
We use tools including Meta and Vibe for site and advertising analytics. They may collect visit, campaign, device and conversion information. Do not enter care-recipient medical information into newsletter or checkout fields. We do not intentionally send care-recipient notes or medical records to advertising tools. Email campaigns may measure opens and link clicks.
Why we use information
To provide app access, fulfill purchases and downloads, process payments, provide requested email content, respond to support requests, and understand broad site performance. The app is a family-organizing tool and is not a clinical medical record system.
Privacy requests and data retention
For access, correction, export or deletion questions, write to support@carecommandhq.com. Different categories of information may have different retention needs, including applicable accounting and transactional obligations. Some information may also remain in vendor backups for a period after an account is closed. We will explain available options for the specific request.
Your choice
Newsletter emails contain unsubscribe options. You can request help about your account and care information through support. If you have a statutory right to request particular actions, contact us so we can process the request appropriately.
Children
Our service is aimed at adult family caregivers and is not intended for children to create accounts.
Updates
We may update this policy when services or practices change. The revision date above indicates the latest version.
